Privacy at SIMUL Interlock.

This notice covers this website and its free AI check-up enquiry form. The site is operated by SIMUL ENERGY O/A SIMUL INTERLOCK. Justin Kohle is your contact for privacy questions.

What we collect

When you request a check-up, we collect your name, business name, work email, optional phone number, type of business, preferred timing, and a brief description of the work you would like to improve. We also record the request reference, submission time, and the version and time of your privacy consent.

Describe the task in general terms. Do not include customer or patient records, clinical information, passwords, payment details, or confidential files. This form does not accept file uploads.

Why we use it

We use these details to review your request, contact you about it, and arrange your free check-up. You can ask us to stop following up at any time. Submitting this form does not subscribe you to a marketing list.

A request does not book an appointment, create an account, or take payment. We agree on a meeting time with you directly. Any paid work is scoped and agreed separately.

Storage and owner notifications

Cloudflare hosts the website and stores the enquiry in its D1 database. The full enquiry is available through an access-controlled administration page. The enquiry record tracks whether an owner notification is pending or delivered. Owner notifications use Resend and the owner's Google Gmail inbox at simulinterlock@gmail.com. These emails contain only the request reference, received time, and an administration link. They do not include your name, business name, contact details, or description of the work.

Cloudflare also processes technical request information to deliver and protect the website. Our form uses hashed versions of an IP address and email address in hourly request counters to reduce spam and repeated submissions.

Services outside Canada

These providers operate outside Canada. Resend states that it stores email content and delivery logs in the United States. Cloudflare describes primary storage in the United States and European Economic Area, with access and transfers through its worldwide operations. Google states that it uses servers around the world and may process information outside the country where you live.

You can read the providers' published information about processing locations and practices: Cloudflare privacy policy, Cloudflare D1 data locations, Resend processing and retention, and Google privacy policy. Information processed abroad may be subject to that country's laws. Justin can answer questions about our use of these services.

Retention and deletion

The website does not apply a fixed automatic deletion period to enquiry records. Requests and related correspondence remain in our records until reviewed and deleted. You can contact Justin to ask what is held or request deletion. Hosting and email providers also maintain logs and backups under their published retention practices.

Your privacy requests

To request access, a correction, or deletion, withdraw your consent to further follow-up, or raise a privacy concern, email Justin Kohle at simulinterlock@gmail.com. We may ask for enough information to verify the request and will explain any records we need to retain.

Contact Collision Audit

Contact Collision Audit is a separate SIMUL Interlock service. Its enquiry and project-data handling are described with that service at Contact Collision Audit.
